Sometimes it’s confidence. Sometimes it’s because you haven’t spent the time really thinking about yourself as a ‘brand’. This workbook will help you set aside that time and methodically capture what makes you special.
There is some real power in having a personal brand that is consistent and authentic and describes you perfectly. So I’ve developed this workbook to help you pull together your own ‘brand value statement’. This workbook is based on a workshop that I run regularly with individuals, Boards and with businesses that are looking to amplify the personal brands of themselves or their people.
A strong personal brand can bring incredible value to your organisation, it’s true. But you take it with you wherever you go and that’s where the real value lies.
As you go through this workbook, you will start to identify things about yourself that you might not have yet. You will go step-by-step through the questions you need to answer to get to the point where you can write an interesting, pithy, service-driven or even funny statement about who you are and what you bring to the table.
Your personal brand value statement is the wording, a description, of what you offer to those who listen and follow and connect with you. The intention of this workbook is to help you write a clear statement that you can add to your social media profiles, LinkedIn or website about section and something that you can articulate when you are getting to know people at networking events and more.
